Charley's Aunt
by
Brandon Thomas
Directed by Victor Hassan
5th - 13th December 2014
Charley Wyckham and Jack Chesney pressure fellow student Fancourt
Babberly to pose as Charley's Brazilian Aunt Donna Lucia. Their
purpose is to have a chaperone for their amorous visits with Amy and
Kitty, niece and ward of crusty Stephen Spettigue. Complications
begin when Fancourt, in drag, becomes the love object of old
Spettigue and Sir Francis Chesney.
This production is to celebrate 25 years of the opening of the Green
Room theatre.
Charley's Aunt was the first
production in May 1990 at the Green Room society's permanent home. As
part of this celebration, the 6 December performance will be a special
Gala Night.
