Make Way For Lucia
by John van Druten
from the novels of E. F. Benson
9th - 16th March 2002
Director: Celia Bonner
If you already know the world of Mapp and Lucia, it will need no introduction.
If you don't you are in for a treat. As Miss Mapp and Lucia vie for position as Queen Bee
of the little village of Tilling, they involve, willingly or otherwise, their friends and
neighbours, and the play takes us through the events of one summer from the Art Show to the
dizzy heights of the pageant.
